Q3: My sister is a Muslim woman who is religious and submits to all the rulings
of the Shari'ah except for one condition, which is the hijab. What is the ruling in Islam regarding this Muslim woman? The reason is the circumstances of her work.
A3: We hope that Allah will keep her firm on the rulings of the Shari'ah that she practices, and on her submission and surrender to the judgment of Allah. It is obligatory for her to cover her 'awrah (the part of the body that must be covered) as well, and her 'awrah includes the face and the hands, as indicated by the evidence of the Shari'ah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
