Q2: What is the ruling on a man who has intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating, multiple times during a single menstrual period? I ask for detail on this matter.
A2: It is forbidden for a man to have intercourse with his wife in her vagina while she is menstruating. Whoever does so has committed a sin, and he owes an expiation for this intercourse. If he repeats it, the sin is repeated and the expiation is repeated according to the number of times, even if it was during a single menstrual period. The expiation for this is a dinar or half a dinar. The amount of the dinar is one mithqal, which is: four-sevenths of the Saudi riyal. He must repent
and seek forgiveness, feel remorse for what he did, and resolve not to return to it, so that Allah may forgive him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
