Seclusion after the contract and before the announcement of the marriage

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 4114 )
Q: Does the wife's guardian have the right to prevent seclusion between a man and a woman who have contracted a valid Islamic marriage but have not yet consummated it? Does he have the right
to prevent that seclusion between them, even if it is in his house, on the grounds of custom? And does that wife have the right to uncover her face before her husband's paternal uncle based on her uncovering her face before her husband's father?

A: First: If a man has contracted marriage with his wife, and the contract has fulfilled its pillars and conditions and its impediments have been removed, it is permissible for her husband to be with her and to be alone with her, even if that is before the announcement of the marriage according to the custom followed in the country. Second: It is not permissible for a man's wife to uncover her face before her husband's paternal uncle based on her uncovering her face before her husband's father; because the husband's paternal uncle falls within the general evidence prohibiting a woman from uncovering her face before them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
