The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18860 )
Q2: If the husband is angry with his wife, knowing that the wife is fulfilling all his rights except for intercourse; because he does not fulfill her rights
and due to many differences, and he often says to her: "These are your children, they are not my sons," is it permissible to say that, even if it is out of stubbornness? Knowing that the wife is a woman who preserves the obligatory duties and her children in his absence, does the anger of this husband toward the wife fall within the intended meaning of the hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): and what is the meaning of the hadith?
A2: It is natural for a husband to become angry with his wife for some reasons, but it is not permissible for the husband, even when angry, to exceed his limit by attributing to a chaste, modest woman something from which she is innocent; such as saying: "My sons, these are not from me"; because this is an exposure to false accusation of adultery. What is obligatory for both spouses is that each should fear Allah toward the other. So the husband must fulfill his obligatory duties toward his wife, such as financial maintenance, clothing, housing, and treating her with kindness. And the wife must obey her husband in everything other than disobedience to Allah and fulfill his rights. And if he calls her to the bed, she must obey him, and it is forbidden for her to disobey him. In the hadith from Abu Hurayrah he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 1436d Narrated by Imam Muslim And Allah the Exalted clarified what each spouse owes the other: [Al-Baqarah 2:228]
And if the wife refuses her husband without a reason from her, she does not sin by that. But if it is due to her negligence and lack of care for her husband, then the warning applies to her, and she sins by that. The meaning of the hadith:Sunan Ibn Majah 1854Hasan (Darussalam) If a woman fulfills what is obligatory upon her toward her husband, performs the obligatory duties upon her toward her Lord, and leaves what Allah has forbidden her, then that is a cause for entering Paradise by the will of Allah and His mercy; as Ahmad narrated in his (Musnad) from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

إذا دعا الرجل امرأته إلى فراشه فلم تأته فبات غضبان عليها لعنتها الملائكة حتى تصبحAnd due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

إذا صلت المرأة خمسها، وصامت شهرها، وحفظت فرجها، وأطاعت زوجها؛ قيل لها: ادخلي الجنة من أي أبواب الجنة شئتAnd success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
