The Shaykh : This cannot be mentioned in detail now, as it would take a long time, but Allah mentioned it in the phrase , . So, what is established by custom is obligatory, and what goes beyond custom is not obligatory except under a condition. Therefore, you will find that people’s customs differ in this regard. For example, in this country, the wife handles all the affairs of the house, such as cooking, cleaning, and washing, and so on. In some places, the wife does not do such things. So, the reference in this matter is to custom, because Allah said: .
