Q: I inform you that I have a son and four full sisters who live in a house of mine, and I have two other daughters from different mothers. I want to write the aforementioned house in the name of the son and his full sisters after I appraise it and compensate the last two daughters for their share of its price. The question is: Is this action permissible, and if it is permissible, is the price of the house divided equally per head or based on the inheritance division where the male share is equal to two female shares? Please issue a ruling, may you be rewarded, and may Allah grant you success.
A: Justice among the children is obligatory. If the money you give to the two daughters equals their share in the house according to the Shari'ah division where the male share is equal to two female shares, then it is permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
