Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 7579 )
Q5: Is it permissible for a woman to go out to offer condolences with her sisters, or one of her mahrams, or is that not prescribed for her? And is there an exception for some, such as her mother, father, and brothers, or is it absolutely prohibited?
A5: It is permissible for a woman to go out for the prescribed condolence if there are no other dangers in her going out, such as wearing perfume, displaying her adornment, or the like; that which causes
fitnah for her or through her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
