Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of the fatwa number (13045)
Q2: If I become in a state of major or minor ritual impurity, and I have no water, and I perform tayammum, and then water becomes available while I am still in the state of purity from the tayammum, is the tayammum invalidated?
A2: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: The principle regarding ritual purity is that it is achieved with water. If water is lacking or one is unable to use it, tayammum with dust serves as a substitute. Therefore, if water is found, the purity by tayammum is invalidated. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
