Permissibility of praying more than one obligatory prayer with a single tayammum

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is tayammum sufficient for only one prayer, or for more than that?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Tayammum is like wudu'; this is the most correct of the opinions of the scholars. Tayammum is like wudu'. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Clean earth is the Wudu' of the Muslim, even if he does not find water for ten years.الصعيد وضوء المسلم، وإن لم يجد الماء عشر سنين
Sunan an-Nasa'i 322Hasan (Darussalam)
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith:
the earth has been made for me a place of worship and a means of purification.جعلت لي الأرض مسجدًا وطهورًا
Sunan Ibn Majah 567Sahih (Darussalam)
So he called its dust a means of purification. Therefore, if one performs tayammum for the Zuhr prayer and the 'Asr time arrives while he is in a state of purity, he prays 'Asr with that tayammum, provided he is excused due to an illness where water would harm him, or due to the unavailability of water.
The point is that tayammum takes the place of water. So if one performs tayammum for the Duha prayer and the Zuhr time arrives, he prays with it. Or if he performs tayammum for Zuhr and 'Asr arrives while he is in a state of purity, he prays with it, and so on, just like water. This remains valid unless something invalidates the tayammum, such as finding water, or if he was ill and water harmed him but then he recovered, in which case he must use water.
