Question 3 and 8 of Fatwa No. ( 6320 )
Q 3: What is the ruling on one who remembers after his ablution, or doubts that he forgot a pillar of the ablution?
A 3: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions... And to proceed: If a person knows after performing ablution that he left a part of the body that water did not touch, then he must repeat it. However, if he doubts whether he washed a part after finishing, his doubt is invalid.
Q 8: What is the ruling on one who performed ablution once, not three times, in order to catch up with the prayer?
A 8: His ablution is valid; because authentic hadiths have come regarding that. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
