The Imamat of One Who Has Not Been Circumcised

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

Fatwa number ( 6087 )

Q: If a man or a woman converts to Islam after reaching the age of thirty or forty years, or less or more, is circumcision obligatory for them, and is it permissible for a man who has not been circumcised to lead the prayer?
A: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. And after: Circumcision is a recommended practice of the innate natural disposition for both men and women. If one leaves it off after reaching an advanced age, he owes nothing. As for the imamat of one who has not been circumcised, it is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
