The ruling on one who rejects his children and opposes them for the sake of Allah
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6147 )
Q2: Whatis the ruling on a Muslim with dependentswho worships Allah and performs the five pillars of Islam properly, but is unable to control his dependents; he opposed them to Islam with all hostility, beating and expelling them, yet they did not accept Islam until everyone knew of it. What is his ruling with Allah?
A2: If the matter is as mentioned in the question, then he owes nothing regarding his dependents; due to the generality of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:286] and other verses from the evidence indicating that a person is not burdened except within his capacity, and due to the generality of His saying, the Exalted: [Al-An'am 6:164] And he did well in what he did and fulfilled what was required of him, and it is Allah who guides whom He wills.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
