The iqamah without an adhan and forgetting some of the words of the iqamah
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first and second questions of the fatwa number ( 6895 )
Q1: If I left off the adhan and performed the iqamah for the prayer, is my prayer valid? Q2: If I forgot the iqamah for the prayer and did not remember it until after the takbir of intention , what must I do?
A1, 2 : Yes, your prayer is valid, but you should call the adhan after the time has entered, before you pray. If you forget the iqamah and enter into the prayer, you do not break it off; rather, continue in your prayer, and your prayer is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
