Delaying the prayer from its time or abandoning it intentionally, and what follows from that

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 2255 )
Q2: If she delays the prayers from their times, and encourages her older and younger daughters to do so, what is the ruling?
A2: If her situation is as described, she is an apostate, corrupting her daughters and her husband’s daughters. She is to be given the opportunity to repent. If she repents and her situation becomes upright, praise be
to Allah. If she persists in what was mentioned, her case is to be referred to the ruler; so that he may separate her from her husband, and establish upon her the prescribed legal punishment, which is: execution; based on the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever changes his religion, execute him.من بدل دينه فاقتلوه
Sunan Ibn Majah 2535Sahih (Darussalam)
. This is if she delays the prayer from its time; such as delaying the 'Asr prayer until the sun sets, or the Fajr prayer until the sun rises; because delaying it from its time without a valid legal excuse has the same ruling as abandoning it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
