The Ruling on the Urine of a Boy and a Girl

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa Number ( 2536 )
Q: I am a man and I have children, and it is the habit of small children to urinate, and it falls on the clothes of their mothers and fathers, especially in the age of childhood. For example, I want to perform Hajj or 'Umrah, and I have nothing but the ihram garments, and some of the urine of the small child has fallen on them. What is the ruling on that? Knowing, as is well known, that urine is ritually impure, and I cannot wash the ihram at that time while I am in the state of ihram, especially the mother of the child, who is often exposed to her son's urine. So, for example, I am in Hajj and it may be difficult for me to wash the ihram. How should I act? May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. After that: There is in the Sunnah what indicates the ruling on the urine of a boy and a girl,
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utba ibn Masud from Umm Qays ibn Mihsan that she brought a baby boy of hers who was not yet eating food to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he sat it in his arms and it urinated on his garment, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, called for some water and sprinkled over it but did not wash it.فعن أم قيس بنت محصن: أنها أتت بابن لها صغير لم يأكل الطعام إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فبال على ثوبه، فدعا بماء فنضحه عليه ولم يغسله
Muwatta Malik 2:110

It was narrated by the group. And from 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The urine of a nursing boy may be sprinkled with water and the urine of a nursing girl is to be washed.بول الغلام الرضيع ينضح، وبول الجارية يغسل
Musnad Ahmad 1148Sahih (Darussalam)
, said Qatadah : (And this is as long as they have not eaten food; if they have eaten, both are washed). It was narrated by Ahmad and al-Tirmidhi , and he said: A good hadith. So you must wash what hits you of the spray of urine if it is the urine of a girl and the urine of a boy who eats food. If the boy does not eat food, it is sufficient for you to sprinkle his urine and sprinkle it with water, without the need for washing or wringing. And so the ihram garment is washed from the urine of the girl and from the urine of the boy who eats food, and it is sprinkled from the urine of the boy who does not eat food. And if you have only the ihram garment, it is possible for you to sprinkle it with water if the urine that hit it was from a boy who has not eaten food, and you wash it from the urine of the girl and the boy who eats food in a place where no one sees your 'awrah except your wife.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
