The sixth question of Fatwa No. ( 968 ):
Q6: I have a noble Mushaf whose pages are torn. What should I do with it? Should I bury it in the ground or not?
A6: It is permissible for you to bury it in the ground of any of the mosques, and it is permissible for you to burn it, following the example of 'Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
