A: Depicting beings with souls and hanging their pictures is forbidden, whether the pictures are three-dimensional or not, and whether they are of prominent figures such as kings, scholars, and righteous people or of others; due to the generality of the authentic hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this, among which is
His saying (peace and blessings be upon him) to 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him):Riyad as-Salihin 1687 It was narrated by Muslim in his Sahih. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
