Q: Is it permissible to recite the Qur'an on the back of a riding animal, such as camels, horses, donkeys, and cars? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
A: It is permissible for a Muslim to recite the Qur'an on the back of a riding animal, and inside
a car or an airplane. It is authentically reported that he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray on his mount, and due to the generality of the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Ali 'Imran 3:190-191] the verse, and remembrance: encompasses the Qur'an and other things. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

(191) Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لآيَاتٍ لأُولِي الأَلْبَابِ (190) الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَى جُنُوبِهِمْ
