Q5: If a Muslim is afflicted with excessive forgetfulness, what is the supplication he should recite when he is struck by whispers, excessive intrusive thoughts, and constriction of the chest? Is there a supplication reported from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that one afflicted with these things should recite?
Volume 5: He mentions Allah the Exalted frequently and seeks refuge in Him from Satan; as narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim and others from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 3276 , and in a narration by Muslim he said: Let him say: , and Muslim narrated from Uthman ibn Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Mishkat al-Masabih 77Sahīh (Zubair `Aliza'i) He said: So I did that, and Allah removed it from me. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

يأتي الشيطان أحدكم فيقول: من خلق كذا من خلق كذا، حتى يقول: من خلق ربك فإذا بلغه فليستعذ بالله ولينتهI have believed in Allah
آمنت باللهhe told God’s messenger that the devil interfered with his prayer and his recitation of the Qur’an, causing confusion in his mind, and God’s messenger replied, “That is a devil called Khinzab; so when you feel his presence seek refuge from him in God and spit three times on your left side.”
