The ruling on people gathering for the Mawlid and the claim of the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q5: What is the ruling on people gathering for the Mawlid while they claim that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) attends their gatherings? Is this gathering valid in terms of the Shari'ah, and what should we do on the day of the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) birth? When was he born, on which day, in which month, and in which year? And is the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) alive in his grave now or not?
A5: People gathering to celebrate the night of the Mawlid and reciting his story is not prescribed; rather, it is an invented religious innovation. Their claim that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) attends their gatherings is a lie. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is alive in his grave with the life of the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection), enjoying the bliss of Paradise, but it is not like his life in this world, for he has died, been washed, shrouded,
prayed over with the funeral prayer, and buried like others. He is the first to be resurrected from his grave on the Day of Resurrection. Allah the Exalted addressed him saying:
(30) Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. (31) Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute.
[Az-Zumar 39:30-31]
, and He the Exalted said:
(15) Then indeed, after that you are to die. (16) Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ (15) ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ
[Al-Mu'minun 23:15-16]
. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
