Fear of Allah and His warning and punishment is what is praised in the Shari'ah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 10561 ):
Q1: I fear the punishment of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) and His warning, but my resolve to act is very weak. When I read the books of the scholars of the Ummah from the righteous Salaf, I find that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions were working in all the doors of good, and they would weep and consider themselves in the rank of sinners. What should I do so that I enter Paradise, escape the Fire, and be gathered with the righteous?
A1: Fear of Allah and His warning and punishment is what is praised in the Shari'ah, and it increases the servant in the mindfulness of Allah, prompting him to carry out His commands and avoid what He has forbidden. So, make your heart sincere for Allah, and be truthful in your fear of Him, so that your resolve strengthens to perform obedience and stay away from sin. And increase in reading the Qur'an with reflection and consideration, so that it may be for you a warning and a methodology.
And from reading about the biography of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), so that you may take from their deeds a model for yourself and follow the paths of good that they followed. May Allah write for us and for you success and strength of resolve in creed and righteous action. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
