Hanging an amulet containing verses, hadiths, and incomprehensible words on a sick person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 4393 ):
Q3: Is it permissible to hang an amulet (hijab) on a sick person, in which noble Prophetic supplications and some of the Noble Qur'an are written, along with seeking nearness to Allah through the awliya (close friends of Allah) from among the Companions and the righteous, and in which incomprehensible words are also written
in a language other than Arabic, and in which some stars are drawn, or to hang the name of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on it to ward off harm or bring about benefit? Know, O Shaykh, that our mother goes to these people and they tell her that she is bewitched and that the whole family is, but we do not obey her or believe her in that. However, she may put medicines in our food and drink, and the amulet she brings may be placed in our clothes at her place or in our beds without our knowledge; because we found amulets with our names at her place and we denied it to her, but she did not care about us?

A3: First: It is not permissible to hang that amulet on a person or place it in clothes, a bed, or a house, whether to bring about benefit or to ward off harm.

Whoever hangs up an amulet has committed shirk.من تعلق تميمة فقد أشرك
. Second: You are thanked for your advice to your mother and your denial of what she did in adopting amulets and placing them in beds and clothes, and for her going to sorcerers and fortune-tellers. It is incumbent upon you to continue advising her, teaching her, and forbidding her from what is wrong, while maintaining proper conduct with her, so that Allah may guide her to repent from the wrongs she commits. There is no sin on you for what she did of wrong, provided you have done what is obligatory upon you of advising
and forbidding her from what you know of her wrongs. There is also no blame on you for what you did not know of the wrongs she committed. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
