Taking a fee for hanging amulets
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 3529 ):
Q2: The content is that a person wrote amulets for another person for a fee and the person for whom they were written later learned that hanging amulets is not permissible in Islam. Does the writer give him those amulets for a fee or not?
A2: The correct ruling: It is forbidden to hang amulets, whether they are from the Qur'an or from something else. And if hanging them is forbidden, it is not permissible to take a fee for writing them, nor to pay it to the one who wrote them. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
