Q7: The three hundred and thirteen messengers, the first of whom was Noah and the last Muhammad (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon them), was a messenger sent before Noah or not?
A7: Noah was the first of the messengers to the people of the earth after Adam; as established in the two Sahihs in the long hadith of intercession:
That the believers came to Noah and said: You are the first messenger Allah sent to the people of the earth, so intercede with our Lord
أن المؤمنين أتوا نوحًا فقالوا: أنت أول رسول أرسله الله إلى أهل الأرض، فاشفع إلى ربنا
