The call of the Prophet's and the Messenger's (peace and blessings be upon him) status when rising from a gathering, or the call for the pleasure of the parents
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second and third questions of Fatwa No. ( 5156 ):
Q2: Some of the common people, when they intend to rise from their gathering, place their hands and say: "O status of the Prophet," or "O status of the Messenger of Allah," or "O pleasure of the parents." And these scholars themselves say that whoever says: "O pleasure of the parents," or "O status of the
Prophet, is a mushrik (one who associates partners with Allah); because he made an intermediary with Allah. And they argue with the hadith in which it says: "O boy, when you seek help, seek help from Allah," to the end of the hadith.
A2: The call of the Prophet's and the Messenger's (peace and blessings be upon him) status when rising from a gathering, or the call for the pleasure of the parents, is a type of seeking help through them, and it is major shirk (associating partners with Allah), may Allah protect us from it. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
