Calling the mother by her name

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 14826 )
Q1: Does a man commit a sin if he calls his mother by her name ? If so, or if not, with evidence from the Sunnah or the Book.
A1: It is obligatory for a person to be dutiful to his parents and to treat them well; due to the command of Allah the Exalted to be good to them in His saying:
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatmentوَقَضَى رَبُّكَ أَلا تَعْبُدُوا إِلا إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا
[Al-Isra 17:23]
And you must call your mother by the best of her names, with honor and respect, and beware of being rude to her, for in that there is a great sin; because undutifulness to parents is among the greatest of major sins. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
