The third question of Fatwa No. ( 3089 ):
Q3: By what did Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, distinguish His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) from all other messengers?
A3: Allah distinguished His servant and Messenger Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him) from all creation and all messengers with many virtues. Among them is that He, Glorified and Exalted is He, chose him as a close friend, just as He chose Ibrahim as a close friend. He sent him to all people, whereas the other messengers sent before him (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and upon them all) were sent only to their own people. The Exalted said:[Al-A'raf 7:158], and He said: [Ali 'Imran 3:81]
Among them is that He honored him and singled him out for the great intercession, unlike the other messengers, along with many other well-known distinct characteristics found in books written on the subject, such as the book [Al-Khasa'is] by Al-Suyuti. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Say, [O Muhammad], "O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all
And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [Allah] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."
Among them is that He honored him and singled him out for the great intercession, unlike the other messengers, along with many other well-known distinct characteristics found in books written on the subject, such as the book [Al-Khasa'is] by Al-Suyuti.
