The belief that 'Isa has a father contradicts the texts of the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

Fatwa number ( 1883 ):

Q1: He claimed that 'Isa (peace be upon him) has a father and said that the belief that 'Isa was born without a father is not part of the Muslim creed?
A1: The claim that 'Isa (peace be upon him) has a father contradicts the texts of the Qur'an indicating that the mother of 'Isa (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) chaste her private parts, that no human touched her, that he is the Word of Allah, and that Allah made him a sign for people. Allah the Exalted said:
(45) [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]. (46) He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous." (47) She said, "My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" [The angel] said, "Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is.
[Ali 'Imran 3:45-47]

, and He the Exalted said:
(16) And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east. (17) And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. (18) She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah." (19) He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy." (20) She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?" (21) He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' " (22) So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place.
[Maryam 19:16-22]
the verses, and He the Exalted said:
And [the example of] Mary, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity, so We blew into [her garment] through Our angel, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His scriptures and was of the devoutly obedient.
[At-Tahrim 66:12]
, so these verses established her chastity and her innocence from fornication, and her truthfulness in that no human touched her, and they explicitly stated that 'Isa (peace be upon him) is the Word of Allah and His sign, which He cast into Maryam , and they indicated that the pregnancy of Maryam with 'Isa was only by the blowing of Jibril into her by the permission and command of Allah. So whoever denies that and claims that 'Isa was from a father and a mother is a disbeliever who commits shirk (associating partners with Allah) in the verses of Allah, accusing Maryam of fornication like the Jews, or claiming that 'Isa (peace be upon him) is the son of Allah like the Christians.
