The Sufis’ claim of the possibility of seeing the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a waking state

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q6: Is it true that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) can be seen in a waking state, as the Sufis claim, that they see him while awake?
A6: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) has passed away, and he is alive in his grave with the life of the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection), the nature of which is known only to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). As for the claim that he is seen in a waking state, this is not correct; there is no evidence proving it, and it is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he is the first person from whom the earth will split open on the Day of Resurrection. This indicates that he does not leave his grave before the Day of Resurrection. This is indicated by His saying regarding him and others:
the Exalted:
Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ
[Az-Zumar 39:30]
and His saying (Mighty and Majestic):
Then indeed, after that, you are going to dieثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ
This indicates that there is no emergence from the graves before the Day of Resurrection. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
