قيل: من الغرباء؟ قَالَ: أنَاس صَالِحُونَ قَلِيل فِي نَاس سوء كثير من يعصيهم أَكثر مِمَّن يطيعهم, and one of al-Tabarani's chains of narration has narrators who are the narrators of Sahih.

The strangers are al-nazza' from the tribes; they migrate from their land, the land of their fathers and grandfathers, to a land where they are able to establish their religion. This is part of the description of the strangers.

Abu Bakr said: Are we they, O Messenger of Allah? He said: No, but you have much good, but they are the poor migrants who will be gathered from the corners of the earth.
كنت عِنْد رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وآله وَسلم يَوْمًا، وطلعت الشَّمْس فَقَالَ: يَأْتِي قوم يَوْم الْقِيَامَة نورهم كنور الشَّمْس، قَالَ أَبُو بكر نَحن هم يَا رَسُول الله؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلكم خير كثير، وَلَكنهُمْ الْفُقَرَاء الْمُهَاجِرُونَ الَّذين يُحشرون من أقطار الأَرْضThen he said: Blessed are the strangers.
