Continuation of the explanation of the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): (… they reach one hundred, all of whom intercede for him, except that they intercede for him).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So, the intercession of the interceders who pray over the deceased is accepted with conditions, some of which are apparent, such as the number being one hundred or more, and some are internal, such as sincerity and the supplicant being pure in body from opposing Allah (Mighty and Majestic) in his food, drink, and clothing. Of course, this does not mean only from this angle; for example, a person might be stealing, committing zina, drinking intoxicants, or doing other such sins. All these sins can be a reason why the supplication of this supplicant is not answered, if we consider divine justice. As for divine grace, we do not speak of it there, because first, it is not guaranteed, and second, it is not customary or known to us. For example, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the one who prays and the one who abandons prayer:
Five prayers have been written by Allah for the servants. Whoever performs them and perfects their performance and completes their humility, bowing, and prostration, has a covenant with Allah that He will admit him to Paradise. خمس صلوات كتبهن الله على العباد فمن أداها وأحسن أداءها وأتم خشوعها وركوعها وسجودها كان له عند الله عهد أن يدخله الجنة
… but the other said regarding him:
will not have such a covenant with Allah; if He wills He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him. ومن لم يؤدها ولم يتم خشوعها وركوعها وسجودها لم يكن له عند الله عهد إن شاء عذبه وإن شاء غفر له
Sunan Ibn Majah 1401Hasan (Darussalam)

So, the one who establishes prayer is guaranteed Paradise, without doubt or hesitation, because Allah (Mighty and Majestic) does not break His promise. As for the one who abandons prayer, he is as you heard in this hadith, and as indicated by the generality of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء
[An-Nisa 4:48]
Among these are those who abandon prayer, and they are also included in the will (of Allah). But this returns to the grace of Allah. If our Lord applies His justice to the one who abandons prayer, he is in the Fire. But if He treats the one who abandons prayer with grace, He forgives him at that time. But this, as I said earlier, is not guaranteed. So do not think that the matter is easy just because we find a funeral with many people praying over it, and that is it, it went to Paradise in a transit, because the number reached one hundred or more. No, the matter has precision, and perhaps I have clarified some of it.
