The questioner : He says: O honorable Shaykh! May I enjoin prayer upon those who buy and sell after the first call on Friday, and rebuke them for their buying and selling? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : Yes. It is obligatory for you to enjoin good and forbid evil after the second call for Friday prayer. But if the preacher begins the sermon, what should I do? I must stop, you must stop, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If you say to your companions: ‘Be quiet’ on a Friday while the Imam is delivering the sermon, you have engaged in Laghw (idle talk or behaviour). إذا قلت لصاحبك: أنصت يوم الجمعة والإمام يخطب فقد لغوت
Sunan Ibn Majah 1110Sahih (Darussalam)
And I should say to him: "Be quiet." This is enjoining good and forbidding evil, and yet the Messenger (peace be upon him) said:
you have wasted your time فقد لغوت
. This is a punishment; this is not a reward, but a punishment.
