Continuation of the explanation of the hadith of Hisham ibn 'Amir (may Allah be pleased with him): (

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The Messenger (peace be upon him) continues here and explains the outcome and result of their severance until the end of their lives, saying:
If they die while they are cut off from each other, neither of them will ever enter the Garden.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 402
What is the meaning of this hadith:
neither of them will ever enter the Garden
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 402
Two meanings come to mind here. The first meaning is that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has forbidden both of them, together, from entering Paradise when they die while maintaining their severance and boycott. If they die while boycotting each other,
neither of them will ever enter the Garden
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 402
this does not mean it is like the ruling for a disbeliever who does not enter Paradise ever. So what is the meaning of this? I say there are two interpretations: they do not enter Paradise ever. Its interpretation is like one of the interpretations of, for example,
The beater of false tales would never enter heaven.
Sahih Muslim 105b
a hadith that passed by us:
No *diwth* will enter Paradise.
What is the meaning of this? It has several meanings, among which is that the backbiter (qattat) or the cuckold (diwth) does not enter Paradise. It is well known who he is. If he considers that permissible with a heart that accepts it, as for a person who commits a sin while knowing it and acknowledging that he is sinful, his punishment in the Hereafter is not that he is forbidden from entering Paradise at all, but rather his entry into Paradise is delayed. This is a possible meaning that can be said here: they did not enter Paradise ever, if they considered this turning away and boycotting permissible. The second meaning, which is the correct one, is that they did not enter Paradise together, ever, meaning together with each other. The reward is of the same kind as the deed. Just as they ruled upon themselves in life by one of them distancing himself from the other, and each lived far from the other here in this world, while knowing that the Wise Lawgiver has forbidden this upon them, their punishment with Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) on the Day of Resurrection will be that if they enter Paradise, each will live far from the other, and they will not enter Paradise together, ever. Rather, this one is here and this one is there, and they will not meet ever. This is a punishment from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and a recompense from Him of the same kind as the deed for each of them. And this meaning is the correct one, because the reality of the word "ever" means that they will not meet at all. This meaning has become stronger in my view, even though the commentator of this book did not address it at all, because I found in a narration from Imam Ahmad, instead of his wording in the narration of the book,
neither of them will ever enter the Garden
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 402
Ahmad said in one of his narrations:
They will not meet in Paradise, ever.
Sahih Ibn Hibban 47:111
So this narration explains this book, and the meaning of
neither of them will ever enter the Garden
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 402
is that when they enter Paradise, they will not meet, and thus, for the duration of their eternal residence in Paradise, they will not meet either, as a recompense for their boycotting each other without a legal excuse in their lives in this world. And this is as came in some authentic hadiths:
Whoever drinks wine in this world, he will not drink it in the Hereafter.
Sunan Ibn Majah 3374Sahih (Darussalam)
,
Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.
Sunan Ibn Majah 3588Sahih (Darussalam)
,
Whoever wears it in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5305Sahih (Darussalam)
, despite the fact that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has mentioned in more than one verse that the clothing of Paradise is gold and silk, and He said explicitly:
and their garments therein will be silk.
[Al-Hajj 22:23]
Despite this, our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) excludes, in what He informed His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) of, that whoever wears silk in this world is forbidden from wearing it in the Hereafter, even though it is among the delights of the people of Paradise that they wear silk. Similarly, the one who drinks intoxicants in this world, meaning he hastens to them, is forbidden from them on the Day of Resurrection in Paradise. So this is from the category of the reward being of the same kind as the deed. Therefore, the two who boycott each other and the two who sever ties, if they die in that state and enter Paradise, they will not meet in Paradise ever.
