Explanation of the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), which I believe is marfu', in which he said:

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : But as we said, the hadith came through another route. He says: "In the son of Adam there are three hundred and sixty joints, three hundred and sixty articulations." The Messenger (peace be upon him) reports this medical and anatomical fact, which medicine does not know even today, despite what they claim about its progress. Medicine does not know how many joints are in the human body. But Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is the One who created man.
Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted? أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ
[Al-Mulk 67:14]
He informed His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that He created man and placed in him three hundred and sixty joints. Were it not for these joints, man would be a solid piece like a mountain; he would not move, not walk, not turn his head, and not look at anything. If a person were to conduct a thorough study of this matter, his mind would be overwhelmed by the favor of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) upon His servants, just in this aspect alone. Let us leave aside the other aspects, and consider only the fact that He made him composed of three hundred and sixty joints. So, for each of these three hundred and sixty joints in the human body, there is a charity every day. The rest of the explanation, if Allah wills, will be in the next lesson, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
