Speaking about the many blessings of Allah, and citing the hadith: “Every morning, a charity is due for every joint of one of you every day” in this regard

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We know, for example, that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has blessed man with blessings in his very being, apart from the worldly comforts He has granted him; a person to whom Allah has granted many, many blessings. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in an authentic hadith:
In the human being are three hundred and sixty joints
; a sulami is a joint,
In the human being are three hundred and sixty joints, and upon every joint is a charity every day
, meaning: upon every person, every day, are three hundred and sixty charities. Why? As thanks to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) for not creating him as a piece of wood; if He had, he would not have been able to eat, drink, walk, or do anything. If a person’s hand withered or was injured, he would have to be fed by a small child. So our Lord (Mighty and Majestic), when He created this human being and surrounded him with these blessings in his person, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said that thanks to Allah, for every person, every day, are three hundred and sixty charities. They said: O Messenger of Allah, who among us is able to give three hundred and sixty charities every day? So he (peace and blessings be upon him) made the matter easy for them and explained to them that the prescribed charities are not limited to metal coins, but rather, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the completion of the hadith:
Your enjoining of what is right is a charity, and your forbidding of what is wrong is a charity, and your reconciling of two people is a charity, and your carrying of luggage on the back of your brother’s mount is a charity, and in every tasbih is a charity, and in every tahmid is a charity, and in every takbir is a charity
. He said at the end, listing many good deeds, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And two rak'ahs of Duha gather all of that for you.
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 63:128

I want to say: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) told us here about something a person does not usually know; indeed, medicine, which has reached a high level of knowledge to this day, does not know this truth that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) told us about; which is that every human being has three hundred and sixty joints. Medicine to this day is ignorant of this truth. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke about some of the blessings that Allah placed in the human body. As for the apparent blessings like sight and hearing and the like of these blessings; the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) does not speak about them because they are apparent. But we know that these blessings can be used for good and can be used for evil. You look and smile at your brother’s face, and a charity is written for you. But you look at a forbidden woman and smile at her face, and a sin is written for you. And as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in an authentic hadith:
It has been decreed for the son of Adam his share of zina; it will overtake him inevitably. So the eye commits zina, and its zina is looking, and the ear commits zina, and its zina is hearing, and the hand commits zina, and its zina is touching
, and in a narration with a weak chain:
Touching
, meaning: shaking hands. The word "batsh" here refers to the handshake that many young people today have been afflicted with.
And the hand commits zina, and its zina is touching, and the foot commits zina, and its zina is walking, and the mouth commits zina, and its zina is kisses
is the plural of "kublah" (kiss). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said at the end of the hadith:
and the private parts testify all this or deny it.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6243
.
So these are blessings that Allah created in man, which he can use in obedience to Allah, and which he can use in disobedience to Allah. Do we say: since some people use these blessings in disobedience to Allah, we forbid them from them? We eliminate them in them because they use them in obedience to Allah? If only the matter stopped at this, and it is an evil! But we say: upon all people, we place barriers before their eyes so that what? They do not use them in disobedience to Allah. Fine, our Lord has granted us this, and He has admonished us and reminded us that these blessings should not be used in disobedience to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Likewise, He mentioned in the Noble Qur'an:
And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.
[Ya-Sin 36:42]
; He created for us means that our fathers and grandfathers before us did not know. And there is no doubt that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) favors us with such a noble promise:
And We created for them from the likes of it that which they ride.
[Ya-Sin 36:42]
. So if some people misused what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) created after it was not previously known, and some people misused it, I say: this is forbidden, it is not permissible for general women to use it; because some women misuse it. There is no difference in this between the one who says: it is not permissible for women to use or ride in a car because they or some of them use it in disobedience to Allah, and the one who says: it is not permissible to ride any known beast; because some women use that in disobedience to Allah.
I do not think that this has any validity in opinion, and the correct view is to say: if the woman who observes the prescribed hijab rides in a car; then she and the man are equal in riding in the car; especially since he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Woman are counterpart of men.
Sunan Abi Dawud 236
