However, the indentation within it does not appear to be the trace of the two feet, because it is historically known that the trace of the feet has disappeared, having vanished since long ago. These indentations were carved or made merely as a marker. It is not possible for us to assert that this trace or this indentation is the location of the feet of Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him). By the way, I would like to point out an issue: some of the 'Umrah pilgrims and Hajj pilgrims stand at Maqam Ibrahim and make a supplication that is not reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
