Prayer at the Maqam Ibrahim

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
When he has completed seven circuits, he moves forward to the Maqam Ibrahim and recites:
And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer.وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلّىً
[al-Baqarah: 125] He reminds himself of this verse so that he feels that he is moving forward to the Maqam Ibrahim in obedience to the command of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and he prays two light rak'ahs behind the Maqam, reciting in the first one after al-Fatihah:
Say, O you disbelieversقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ
[al-Kafirun: 1] ,And in the second one after it:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[al-Ikhlas: 1] Then he leaves immediately after finishing the two rak'ahs and does not sit for supplication; because this is not a place for supplication, it is for prayer, and he should make it light; because this is the Sunnah, and so that he clears the place for whoever wants to pray in it.
