Does a man sin if he does not order his family to go out for the festival prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you with good. Does a man, as the head of the family, sin by not ordering his family to go out for the festival prayer?

The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say to the people, "Order your families to go out." But he ordered the people, may peace and blessings be upon him, to go out, including the young women who have not yet married, those who stay in their inner chambers, and those who are menstruating, except that the menstruating women should stay away from the place of prayer, because the place of prayer for the festival is a mosque. Therefore, it is recommended for a person, when he enters the festival mosque, to pray two rak'ahs if the imam has not yet arrived. He prays two rak'ahs as the greeting of the mosque.
