The questioner : The second question from a student of knowledge asks: Is it permissible to pray in the clothes in which a person experienced a wet dream?

The Shaykh : The answer is yes, it is permissible to pray in the clothes in which a person experienced a wet dream, except that he should wash the semen if it is wet, and rub it off if it is dry.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : This is if he slept after performing istinja' with water or lawful istijmar. However, if he slept without performing istinja' with water or lawful istijmar, then it is not permissible for him to pray in the garment affected by this semen until he washes it. This is because when semen comes into contact with an impure place, it becomes contaminated by it. If it becomes contaminated by it and reaches the garment, then it is obligatory to wash it.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : You have done well. The third question says.
