The second question of Fatwa No. ( 18641 )
Q2: What is the ruling if one of us finds traces of semen on his underwear, and does not know or confirm whether he had a wet dream or not? Does he complete his fast?
A2 : If a person finds traces of semen on his clothes, it is obligatory for him to perform the full ritual bath, even if he does not remember having a wet dream in his sleep; based on the hadith of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her),Mishkat al-Masabih 433, 434 agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. Thus, the obligation of the full ritual bath is tied to seeing the water, which is the semen. He must complete the fasting of his day, and his fast is valid. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Umm Salama told how Umm Sulaim said, "Messenger of God, God is not ashamed of the truth. Is any washing necessary for a woman when she has a sexual dream?” He replied, "Yes, when she sees signs of liquid.”
أن أم سُليم رضي الله عنها قالت: يا رسول الله، إن الله لا يستحي من الحق، فهل على المرأة من غُسل إذا احتلمت؟ قال: نعم، إذا رأت الماء
