Now comes the hadith of Ibn 'Umar with the same previous hadith

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Now comes the hadith of Ibn 'Umar with the same previous hadith, but you must now be aware that this is of the type that scholars of hadith call the marasil of the Companions; because you know that when Ibn 'Umar was informed of the hadith of 'Aishah, he said: "We have indeed missed many qirats." Now he himself is narrating this hadith, but he says: "From the Prophet," and does not say: "I heard"; so its meaning is that he received it from whom? Either from Abu Hurayrah or from 'Aishah who believed him. He said: "It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
whoever follows a Janazah until the prayer is offered, he will have one Qirat of reward مَن تبع جنازة حتى يصلي عليها ؛ فإن له قيراطًا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1940Sahih (Darussalam)
. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the qirat, and he said:
Like Uhud مثل أحد
. In another narration, they said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it like our qirats?" He said:
No, but like Mount Uhud or greater than Mount Uhud لا ، بل مثل أحد أو أعظم من أحد
. It was narrated by Ahmad, and its narrators are trustworthy.
