The ruling on seeking refuge with Allah when yawning and praising Allah when belching
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! What is the ruling on saying: (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan) when yawning, and (praise be to Allah) when belching?
It is not recommended for a person when he yawns to say: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded that when yawning, a person should suppress it as much as he can, and if he cannot, he should place his hand over his mouth,And he did not guide the Ummah to say: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan.
And as for His saying (the Exalted): [Al-A'raf: 200] The meaning of the piercing of Shaytan here is commanding disobedience or leaving obedience.
As for praising Allah when belching, this is also not prescribed; because belching is known to be a human nature,And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say: If one of you belches, let him praise Allah.
As for sneezing, he said: (If one sneezes, let him praise Allah) and he did not say this regarding belching.
Yes, if it were assumed that a person is ill such that he does not belch, and he feels that he has the ability to belch, then here he praises Allah; because it is a renewed blessing.

And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah
