Proxy in Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a woman who wants to perform Hajj, but if she sees the crowd, she faints. Will someone perform Hajj on her behalf? And what do you advise the person who will perform it on her behalf? The Shaykh: If it is confirmed that she faints when she sees a large number of people, then we say: she should not perform Hajj. However, if she has money that she can pay to someone to perform Hajj on her behalf, it is obligatory for her to do so. If she does not have money, then she owes nothing.
As for the one who accepts to perform Hajj on behalf of another, we advise him to fear Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and to feel that he is responsible, as a matter of trust, for this act of worship. It is obligatory for him to perform it in the most complete manner possible; because the one who performs Hajj for himself is not like the one who performs it for another. The one who performs Hajj for another must pay attention to the obligatory acts, the recommended practices, and all the benefits, whereas the one who performs Hajj for himself may limit himself to the obligatory acts.
