Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, upon Us is the guidance)]
In this session, we begin with the exegesis of the remainder of Surat al-Layl,where Allah Blessed and Exalted said: [al-Layl:12-13] .
So His saying, the Mighty and Majestic: [al-Layl:12] In this is a commitment from Allah the Mighty and Majestic to make clear to creation what they follow to reach Him,And what is meant by guidance here is: the guidance of explanation and direction, for Allah the Exalted has committed Himself to clarifying this; so that people may have no argument against Allah,And this is like His saying, the Exalted: [al-Nisa:163] until He said: [al-Nisa:165] Be careful, O brothers! The human intellect cannot independently know the guidance, and therefore Allah the Mighty and Majestic committed to making the guidance clear to man: [al-Layl:12] .
And let it be known that guidance is of two types: 1- Guidance of success, which no one can achieve except Allah.
2- Guidance of direction and indication, which comes from Allah and from creation; from the messengers and the scholars, as Allah said to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): [al-Shura:52] .
As for the guidance of success, it is with Allah; no one can enable a person to succeed in good,As Allah the Exalted said: [al-Qasas:56] .
If we look at this noble verse: [al-Layl:12] We found that Allah the Exalted has clarified everything: what is required of people in creed, what is required of them in worship, what is required of them in morals, what is required of them in transactions, and what they must avoid in all of this, until Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) has passed away, and there is no bird that flaps its wings in the sky but that we have been informed of knowledge concerning it) And a man from the polytheists said to Salman al-Farisi: [Did your Prophet teach you even how to relieve oneself? He said: Yes, he taught us even how to relieve oneself] .
Meaning: Even the etiquette of relieving oneself, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) taught it to his Ummah,And supporting this is the saying of Allah the Exalted: [al-Ma'idah:3] .
In this session, we begin with the exegesis of the remainder of Surat al-Layl,where Allah Blessed and Exalted said:
(12) Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance. (13) And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].
So His saying, the Mighty and Majestic:
Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him
[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers
Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
And let it be known that guidance is of two types: 1- Guidance of success, which no one can achieve except Allah.
2- Guidance of direction and indication, which comes from Allah and from creation; from the messengers and the scholars, as Allah said to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
As for the guidance of success, it is with Allah; no one can enable a person to succeed in good,As Allah the Exalted said:
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills
If we look at this noble verse:
Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.
Meaning: Even the etiquette of relieving oneself, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) taught it to his Ummah,And supporting this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
