Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (A soul will know what it has put forth and what it has held back)]

Allah the Exalted said::
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
[Al-Infitar: 5] (soul) here is an indefinite noun, but it carries the meaning of universality,for the meaning is: every soul will know what it has put forth and what it has held back;and this is by what is presented to it of the book:
(13) And [for] every person We have imposed his fate upon his neck, and We will produce for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open. (14) [It will be said], "Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant."
[Al-Isra: 13-14] ,and on that day the criminals will say:
What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?
[Al-Kahf: 49] so a person will know what he has put forth and what he has held back, whereas in this world he has forgotten. We have now forgotten what we did long ago, but on the Day of Resurrection our deeds will be presented to us, and every soul will know what it has put forth and what it has held back,and the purpose of this warning is: a warning to the servant not to act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger; for he will know about it and be held accountable for it.
