Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (A soul will know what it has brought forth)

Allah the Exalted said:
A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ
[Surat al-Takwir: 14] meaning: what you have sent forth of good and evil,
The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evilيَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَراً وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ
[Surat Ali 'Imran: 30] meaning: it will be brought forth, also
it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himselfتَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَداً بَعِيداً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمْ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ
[Surat Ali 'Imran: 30] so on that day every soul will know what it has brought forth of good or evil. In this world, we know what we do of good or evil; but we quickly forget. Who remembers now what he did from what preceded him since the pen of accountability was written? We have forgotten much, so we do not remember anything of the acts of obedience or the sins; but do you think that this has gone to waste as we have forgotten it? No.
It remains, so when the Day of Resurrection comes, you will bring it forth by your admission against yourself that you did it,For this reason, Allah the Exalted said:
A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَا أَحْضَرَتْ
[Surat al-Takwir: 14] .
So it is befitting, indeed it is obligatory, for the person to reflect on these great verses, and to take a lesson from the admonitions contained in them, and to believe in them as if he sees them with his own eyes; because what Allah has informed us of and we know its meaning, it is more certain for us than what we have witnessed with our eyes, or heard with our ears; because the news of Allah the Exalted is truth that does not fail; but what we see or hear often involves illusion. You may see a distant thing as a phantom that you define in your imagination, and it is contrary to reality, and you may hear a sound and think it is a specific thing in your mind, and it is contrary to reality, so illusion affects the senses; but the news of Allah Mighty and Majestic, if its meaning is known, nothing of illusion can affect it; because it is the news of truth.
So these matters that Allah the Exalted mentioned in these verses are real matters, and it is obligatory to believe in them as if you see them with your own eyes, and after believing in them, it is obligatory to act in accordance with what they indicate of taking a lesson and refraining, and performing the obligatory duties and leaving the prohibited things, so that you may be among the people of the Qur'an who recite it with its true recitation. May Allah make us and you among them by His grace and generosity, for He is capable of all things.
