Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, every soul has over it a guardian)]
Then Allah clarified what He swore by in His saying: [Al-Tariq: 4] (Inna) here means (ma), and when (illa) comes after (inna), then (inna) means (ma),Meaning: [meaning] not every soul, and (lamma) here means (illa), meaning: not every soul except that it has a guardian over it, or every soul has a guardian over it,As Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ra'd: 11] And every soul has a guardian over it who records what the human being does;because of His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Infitar: 10-12], and Allah the Mighty and Majestic only informed us of this and swore by it to confirm it so that we would be cautious and avoid all the sins recorded against us; either by leaving them from the start, or by repenting from them if they occur from us, and every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent.
So the believer, when he knows that he has a guardian over him who records what he says and does; he undoubtedly fears and is afraid that what he does of sins and transgressions will be recorded against him,As Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said: [Qaf: 18] .
Then Allah clarified what He swore by in His saying:

لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ(10) And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, (11) Noble and recording; (12) They know whatever you do.
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ * كِرَاماً كَاتِبِينَ * يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَSo the believer, when he knows that he has a guardian over him who records what he says and does; he undoubtedly fears and is afraid that what he does of sins and transgressions will be recorded against him,As Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:
