Allah the Exalted said:
So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلا تَقْهَرْ
[Surat al-Dhuha: 9] Meaning: Remember your own orphanhood; so treat the orphan with gentleness and compassion, and do not oppress him unless his oppression is in a matter that is in his interest. This is not oppression in reality, even if it appears to be oppression, but the benefit for this orphan is great.
