Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Then He caused him to die and placed him in a grave)]

Then Allah the Exalted said: [Abasa: 21] Death is the separation of the soul from the body, and (placed him in a grave) means: He put him in his grave,Meaning: buried as a cover for him and as an honor and respect; for if humans, when they died, were like other dead things, corpses thrown into the garbage, that would be a great humiliation for the deceased and for the family of the deceased. But among the blessings of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is that He prescribed this burial for His servants. For this reason, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Abasa: 21] He said: [He honored him by burying him] .
