Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: (Indeed, those who disbelieved from the People of the Book and the polytheists)]
In the previous session, we concluded with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He: [Al-Bayyinah: 6] . Here, in this verse, Allah the Exalted provides a definitive explanation that those who disbelieved from the People of the Book and the polytheists (are in the Fire of Hell) meaning: in the fire called Hell, and it is called Hell because of the depth of its bottom and its darkness; thus, it is derived from the word *jehmah* (a deep, dark place),And it was said: It is said to be a non-Arabic name that the Arabs Arabized, and in any case, it—meaning the word Hell—is one of the names of the Fire. May Allah protect us and you from it.
And his statement:[Al-Bayyinah 98:6] (from) here clarifies the ambiguity,I mean: the ambiguity of the relative name in His saying: [Al-Baqarah 2:6] And on this basis, it necessitates that the People of the Book are disbelievers, and they are the Jews and the Christians, and so it is; for the Jews and the Christians are disbelievers when they did not believe in the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him),And if they say: that they believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they call for mercy for their dead, and similar to that are the phrases by which they seek to ingratiate themselves. They are liars, for if they truly believed in Allah and the Last Day, they would have believed in Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and indeed, they would have believed in the messengers; for the description of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was found in the Torah and the Gospel, as Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said in Surat al-A'raf: [Al-A'raf: 157] , Indeed, 'Isa (peace be upon him) said to the Children of Israel: [Al-Saff: 6] , So when this Messenger, whom 'Isa had announced with clear proofs, came, they said: , and they lied about him and did not follow him, except for a small group of Jews and Christians, who believed in Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and followed him.
(the worst of creation) meaning: the worst of the created beings; for *bariyyah* means the created beings. On this basis, the disbelievers from the descendants of Adam, from the Jews, the Christians, and the polytheists, are the worst of creation, the worst of the created beings,And Allah has explained that completely in His saying: [Al-Anfal: 55] ,And Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Anfal: 22-23] , So these disbelievers from the Jews, the Christians, and the polytheists are the worst of creation in the sight of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And if they are the worst of creation, we should expect nothing from them but all evil; for evil emanates from the evil-doer, and it is never possible to have a good opinion of them. We may trust the righteous among them, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) trusted the polytheist 'Abdullah ibn Urayqit when he hired him to show him the way of the migration. But the majority and the bulk of them are not to be trusted; for they are evil.
In the previous session, we concluded with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
